MAYDAY Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to contribute immediately within the hospitality sector. This is an initial temporary contract for 4 weeks, with potential for extension or permanent conversion.

Opportunity Highlights:

Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for Business As Usual (BAU) payroll processes, managing end-to-end payroll for approximately 120 staff (permanent and casual) on a weekly basis.
• Provide support for award interpretation, applying clauses within the hospitality award.
• Maintain data integrity by utilising internal systems for tracking and managing payroll data, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and collaborating with the business to resolve errors.
• Utilise expertise in Employment Hero to manage the payroll process from start to finish.
• Collaborate with the broader finance team, assisting with inquiries related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general finance matters.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for staff payroll inquiries.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience with Employment Hero is essential; candidates without this experience will not be considered.
• Demonstrated expertise in payroll management, including experience with end-to-end payroll for approximately 200 individuals.
• Prior experience within the hospitality sector is considered advantageous.
• Experience in learning and interpreting awards.
