Payroll Officer – Contract

Company: Clarity Partners Location: Perth WA Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 + Super Work Type: Contract Work Arrangement: Hybrid (30% office / 70% work from home) Contract Duration: Initial 6 months

Clarity Partners is seeking a Payroll Officer for an initial 6-month contract. You will be part of a collaborative payroll team, working closely with the Payroll Manager and People Team. Your primary responsibility will be the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, ensuring adherence to Australian payroll legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of monthly payroll utilising ADP Payforce.
• Addressing employee payroll queries professionally and promptly.
• Collaborating with the People Team on matters including new starters, terminations, employment changes, contract variations, and award interpretation.
• Maintaining precise employee records and payroll data within ADP Payforce.
• Conducting payroll reconciliations, pre-payroll validations, and quality assurance checks to guarantee accurate payroll processing.
• Contributing to payroll compliance activities, such as STP Phase 2, Superannuation Guarantee, and Fair Work obligations.
• Providing support for payroll reporting, system enhancements, and ad hoc payroll projects as may be required.

About You

• Possess previous Australian end-to-end payroll experience.
• Have experience with ADP Payforce or a comparable payroll system.
• Exposure to Workday or another HRIS platform is highly regarded.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards, Fair Work, STP Phase 2, and Superannuation requirements.
• Exhibit strong Microsoft Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
• A Certificate IV in Payroll Administration or equivalent practical experience is advantageous.
• Exposure to Rosterspace is desirable.
