Payroll Officer

empire group is seeking a Payroll Officer to provide accurate and timely payroll services across the firm. This is a remote, full-time position based in Brisbane QLD, with a salary package of $80K-$100K.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of fortnightly payroll and superannuation.
- Respond to staff payroll queries and deliver excellent customer service.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll reporting and reconciliations.
- Undertake payroll data entry and administrative tasks.
- Manage full payroll processes in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Proven end-to-end payroll experience within a corporate setting.
- Experience with Chris21 or a comparable payroll system.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
