We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. This onsite role will operate Monday to Wednesday. In partnership with our existing Payroll Officer, you will be integral to managing high-volume payroll within a dynamic environment. This position offers exposure to Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs), award interpretation, and a range of payroll processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the comprehensive payroll process for a high-volume workforce.
• Assist in the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll.
• Interpret and apply EBAs, awards, and relevant legislation.
• Manage payroll transactions, including new starters, terminations, and adjustments.
• Address payroll queries from employees and stakeholders.
• Maintain precise payroll records and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Collaborate closely with the Payroll Officer to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Provide ad hoc Payroll/HR support.

About You:

• Proven experience in payroll, with a preference for a high-volume setting.
• Knowledge of EBA and award interpretation would be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Experience with payroll systems such as MYOB, Xero, or similar is advantageous.
