PENINSULA is seeking a full-time Payroll Officer to join our team at our Sydney NSW office. This is an onsite role.

Working within a collaborative team at our Sydney HQ, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate end-to-end payroll processing for over 1000 employees across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing end-to-end payroll for Australia and New Zealand, including payroll variations, employee changes, and calculating termination payments.
• Investigating and resolving payroll variances.
• Calculating and submitting Superannuation and Payroll Tax.
• Assisting with fortnightly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting.
• Managing the ANZ payroll inbox.

What We’re Looking For:

• Over 2 years of experience in a payroll function within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of legislation and awards pertaining to PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, and employee entitlements.
• Qualifications in Payroll, Finance, or Accounting are highly regarded.
• Confidence using Excel, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and XLOOKUPs.
• High attention to detail, organisation skills, and the ability to learn quickly.
