Sharp & Carter Accounting Clerical WS is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for a full-time, onsite position in Sydney NSW. This role offers a salary of $110,000 - $115,000 plus superannuation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional to join a large, well-established organisation operating in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing as part of a collaborative payroll team of six. The organisation provides a stable working environment and fosters a strong team culture.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• End-to-end weekly payroll processing
• Ensuring accurate payroll data, adjustments, and compliance requirements are met
• Processing new starters, terminations, and employee changes
• Managing payroll queries from employees in a timely manner
• Supporting payroll reporting and reconciliations
• Assisting with payroll-related compliance activities, including superannuation
• Undertaking additional tasks to support the broader payroll team as required

Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will possess experience in a similar Payroll Officer position and demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Strong end-to-end payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with SAP payroll systems is highly desirable
• High attention to detail with a proactive working approach
• Ability to work confidently both autonomously and within a team
• Experience in large, fast-paced environments such as retail or FMCG is advantageous
• A motivated, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
