This is an exciting contract opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a friendly and supportive payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include the accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll using Chris21. This role is suited for an individual who thrives in a collaborative setting and possesses previous experience processing payroll in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll processing utilizing Chris21.
- Maintaining accurate employee payroll records.
- Processing new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments.
- Interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and employment contracts.
- Responding to payroll-related enquiries from employees and stakeholders.
- Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and in line with legislative requirements.
- Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
- Supporting the wider payroll team with ad hoc tasks as required.
About You:
- Previous experience processing end-to-end payroll.
- Demonstrated experience using Chris21 (essential).
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team.
- Available to commence at short notice or within a reasonable notice period.
