Payroll Specialist
Adaptalift Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage the company's national payroll function. Adaptalift Group is one of Australia’s largest and fastest-growing materials handling hire and sales companies, with over 40 years of heritage as a privately-owned, family-operated business. This is an independent, end-to-end payroll role offering the opportunity for full ownership and expertise demonstration.

A Week in the Life:
- Deliver accurate and timely weekly payroll for approximately 700 employees across Australia and New Zealand.
- Reconcile and prepare monthly superannuation, payroll tax, and other statutory documentation.
- Ensure payroll compliance with awards, enterprise agreements, employment contracts, and legislation.
- Manage payroll queries and provide professional guidance on entitlements, leave, and superannuation.
- Perform regular payroll audits and generate accurate, timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in payroll system upgrades, testing, and improvements.
Requirements:
- Solid experience processing end-to-end payroll within a medium-sized national organisation.
- Thorough knowledge of taxation laws and regulations, including PAYG, ETP, payroll tax, and superannuation.
- Understanding and interpretation of Awards, EBAs, and employment contracts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with proactive initiative.
- Strong customer-centric approach with the ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency with payroll systems and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.
