Role Uniqueness: Within our Forensic and Specialist Services team, you will receive comprehensive training, ongoing professional development, and strong team support. This role offers the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of how disability can influence risk, behaviour, and social disadvantage. You will support individuals with cognitive or psychosocial disabilities and forensic histories to achieve positive outcomes and enhance their quality of life. We utilise trauma-informed, evidence-based practices to support participants in reaching their NDIS goals. Individualised therapeutic support models are developed and implemented, recognising each person's history, strengths, and support needs. Focus is placed on safety, risk management, capacity building, promoting independence, and supporting successful reintegration into the community. This position is ideal for resilient, reflective, and emotionally intelligent individuals who can remain calm under pressure, think critically about complex situations, and respond with empathy and professionalism. A strong commitment to human rights, dignity, and person-centred practice is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support to individuals with complex psychosocial and forensic disability needs.
• Assist with daily living skills and person-centred support, promoting independence and choice and control.
• Implement and contribute to individual therapeutic support plans and behavioural strategies.
• Proactively manage risk, ensuring safety for participants, staff, and the community.
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and contribute to ongoing assessment and review processes.
• Engage in active support practices that enhance wellbeing, capacity building, and social inclusion.

About You: Whether you bring experience in mental health, disability, or forensic support, or are new to the sector, your values and willingness to learn are most important. CLO will support your development through training, supervision, and, where needed, pathways to formal qualifications.

What You'll Need to Thrive in This Role:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
• Current Driver's Licence
• First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or similar (or willing to obtain)
