About the Role

We are looking for a Personal Support Worker to cover one morning and one evening shift per week, totalling seven hours. You will assist clients with their daily living activities, supporting their independence in their own homes. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs (hoists are used when necessary).
• Providing personal care, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
• Supporting basic wound care and self-medication.
• Offering domestic support, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Facilitating community access, including driving clients to appointments and social activities.

About You

We are looking for passionate individuals with an empathetic nature and a positive attitude. You should possess effective communication skills and treat others with dignity and respect. Prior experience is not required, as extensive training is provided.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Smartphone device.
• Current NDIS Workers Screening Card (Yellow Card) or willingness to obtain one.
• Eligibility to apply for a Working with Children Check.
• Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module or willingness to complete it.
• Flexibility to work a fixed fortnightly roster with varying shift times.
