As a Senior Associate within the Private Business (Business Tax) team, you will deliver customised tax advisory and compliance services to a client base that includes family enterprises, partnerships, and privately-held companies.

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with a portfolio of private business clients, understanding their specific tax requirements and providing tailored advice.
- Ensure client compliance with tax obligations through the preparation and review of tax returns, focusing on accuracy and adherence to current regulations.
- Provide clients with advice on tax-efficient strategies to optimise their tax positions, encompassing areas like succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganisations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, conducting thorough research to offer informed guidance to clients.
- Mentor and support junior team members, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Identify potential tax risks and devise strategies for mitigation, safeguarding client interests.
- Communicate updates on tax-related matters to clients, keeping them informed of changes in tax legislation.
- Deliver tax compliance, tax planning, and tax advisory services for extensive client groups with diverse entity structures, including trusts, companies, partnerships, and individuals.
- Assist clients with tax-related services for business acquisitions, such as tax due diligence, reviewing tax provisions in purchase agreements, and managing the integration of acquired entities, including tax consolidation calculations and stub period tax returns.
