Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Process Engineer will contribute across operations, projects, and continuous improvement, delivering measurable impact in a high-investment, technically advanced setting.

What you'll do:

• Monitor and optimise plant performance, with a focus on cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Investigate process issues and implement sustainable performance enhancements.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions throughout the plant.
• Identify and implement optimisation opportunities related to throughput and resource utilisation.
• Support and execute capital projects, trials, and process changes.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to enhance reliability and performance.
• Take responsibility for specific process areas and drive continuous improvement outcomes.

What you will bring:

• A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in process engineering within heavy industry or manufacturing. Pulp mill experience will be very highly regarded.
• A strong background in process optimisation, troubleshooting, and plant performance.
• Experience working with large-scale equipment or complex chemical processes.
• The ability to lead initiatives and influence outcomes across the site.
• A proactive, self-driven approach with a focus on results and improvement.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and operational teams.
