Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Process Engineer will contribute across operations, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives, delivering tangible results in a highly invested and technologically advanced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and optimise plant performance, with a focus on cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Investigate process issues and implement sustainable performance enhancements.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions throughout the plant.
• Identify and implement optimisation opportunities related to throughput and resource utilisation.
• Support and deliver capital projects, trials, and process modifications.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to enhance reliability and performance.
• Assume responsibility for specific process areas and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Bring:

• A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in process engineering within heavy industry or manufacturing. Pulp mill experience is highly regarded.
• A strong foundation in process optimisation, troubleshooting, and plant performance.
• Experience working with large-scale equipment or complex chemical processes.
• The ability to lead initiatives and influence outcomes across the site.
• A proactive, self-driven approach focused on achieving results and improvement.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with both technical and operational teams.
