Redpath Partners Pty Ltd is recruiting a Project Accountant for a contract role based onsite in Parramatta. This position offers a Generous Day Rate and is initially for a 6-month period, with potential for extension.

This role is with a growing and dynamic property development business focused on delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects. The successful candidate will support the financial management and reporting of development projects and assist the team through a busy year-end period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor project costs and report on financial performance against budgets.
• Prepare consolidated financial accounts.
• Undertake Capex reporting.
• Assist with monthly reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Support project teams by providing commercial and financial insights.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including contractors and consultants.
• Ensure accurate financial records and compliance requirements are maintained.
• Assist in the external audit process.

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
• Previous experience in property development, construction, or project accounting is preferred.
• Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate advanced Excel skills and a proactive approach.
