Project Control Engineer
Eaton is seeking a Project Control Engineer for a full-time role based in Mascot. This is a remote position.

As part of our Power Quality (PQ) division, we are recruiting a Project Engineer/Technician to support the PMO team with EPMS projects. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to facilitate both onsite and offsite works, and to help develop our onsite capabilities for ongoing client maintenance contracts.
Key Duties:
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
- Develop project drawings and SLDs for customers as required.
- Collaborate with internal resources to ensure project-related technical submittals are prepared and approved by clients.
- Establish testing plans (ITP/ITS), conduct onsite training, and oversee factory and site commissioning and testing for software projects.
- Prepare the SWMS with assistance from the Safety Officer and relevant resources.
- Ensure successful onsite delivery, installation, commissioning, and testing of software projects in accordance with site requirements.
- Verify that designs and projects comply with relevant electrical and safety requirements, as well as customer specifications.
- Address and resolve all technical questions or inquiries from clients.
- Perform overall quality control of work, including budget, schedule, plans, and personnel performance, and provide regular project status reports.
- Prepare and manage the onsite resource schedule and plan.
- Provide regular project or progress report updates to both Eaton and clients.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants, offering assistance and technical support.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Electrical/Electronic qualification.
- Experience in installations, commissioning, fault finding, and maintenance of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems/SCADA.
- Knowledge and experience with ELV, LV, MV, UPS, ATS, STS, Switchboards, and control systems/PLC’s/HMI’s.
- Experience with database historian/SQL applications.
- Proficiency in computers, networking, and software such as MS Office, SAP, Visio, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and control drawings and schematics.
