The Role This position will be instrumental in ensuring the technical quality of projects. Responsibilities include generating engineering documentation, developing Building Management System (BMS) software and graphics, optimising control systems, and offering on-site technical assistance to guarantee project accuracy, efficiency, and suitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise engineering drawings, points lists, functional descriptions, and operation and maintenance manuals.
• Develop BMS software, graphics, programming, and site-building configurations.
• Tune PID loops and provide troubleshooting support to commissioning teams.
• Undertake site visits to verify that programs and graphics align with operational requirements.
• Configure system IP networks, including internet connectivity.
• Identify opportunities for value addition, cross-selling, and efficiency improvements.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate across different teams.
• Participate in training, promotions, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and quality standards.

Requirements

• Significant experience with BMS, HVAC, building controls, or automation systems.
• A background in managing or supporting technical teams.
• Experience with installations, commissioning support, and controls engineering.
• Well-developed analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong relationship-building skills and a solutions-oriented approach.
