New Venture Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer for a full-time, onsite role in Brisbane, QLD.

Work with a prominent contractor in the Australian geotechnical and piling industry. This organisation boasts a national footprint with multiple Australian branches and a robust project pipeline in Queensland. You will encounter a varied range of works, including commercial developments, civil infrastructure, and significant resources and transport projects.

This is a site-based Project Engineer position focused on delivering piling and ground engineering works across various projects in Brisbane and the South East Queensland (SEQ) region. Your responsibilities will include supporting the successful execution of scopes involving CFA piling, bored piling, diaphragm walls, shoring, and ground improvement. You will be tasked with coordinating site teams, subcontractors, plant, and materials, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required specifications. Collaborating closely with site supervisors, project managers, and clients, you will be instrumental in maintaining project schedules, quality assurance, and commercial outcomes.

Requirements:

• Project Engineer experience within piling, geotechnical, or civil construction.
• Strong technical understanding of foundation systems and ground engineering methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage site activities, subcontractors, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in coordinating resources, procurement, and project schedules.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, engineers, and site personnel.
• A safety-conscious approach with a keen eye for quality and detail.
• Ability to perform effectively in dynamic construction settings.
