An opportunity exists for a Project Engineer to join our Melbourne team, contributing to a significant construction project.

About the Role The Project Engineer's primary responsibility is to manage concurrent projects involving end-to-end build and installation activities, upgrades, and the resolution of technical issues on major projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Key aspects of the role and requirements include:

• Demonstrating a thorough understanding of WHS systems, processes, and procedures.
• Delivering designs that align with Project Manager and customer requirements.
• Providing solution support services, including testing and commissioning.
• Collaborating closely with the delivery team to ensure all design and delivery aspects are met.
• Producing high-quality design documentation with sound technical performance for customers.
• Working with the Project Manager to coordinate start dates, site inductions, inspections, material delivery, and to efficiently resolve site-based design and construction issues.
• Managing subcontractors and other resources to ensure project delivery within set timelines.
• Ensuring projects operate within time and budget constraints and articulating any issues affecting project objectives.
• Ensuring the seamless completion of all necessary project documentation.

About You Ideal candidates will possess:

• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer, with demonstrated career progression to this level.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and experience in a telco, electrical engineering, or related infrastructure environment.
• Proficiency in documentation and design, including the ability to read and interpret designs.
• Strong technical capabilities, superior problem-solving skills, and demonstrated relationship-building and well-developed influencing skills.
