Veolia Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced MOC / Project Engineer for its Gold Coast Desalination Plant located in Tugun. This full-time, hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead significant projects that contribute to the provision of safe, high-quality drinking water.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

• Project Leadership: Develop business cases, detailed scopes, and schedules for capital projects in alignment with the Asset Management Plan.
• Change Management: Coordinate Management of Change (MOC) processes and maintain controlled documentation for drawings, manuals, and operational procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Work with operations, maintenance, procurement, and asset management teams to ensure effective project execution.
• Contractor Oversight: Manage subcontractors and consultants, including site supervision and technical oversight.
• Budget Control: Manage project finances, approve invoices, and track progress claims.
• Quality and Safety Assurance: Coordinate design reviews, risk assessments, and HAZOPs while upholding strict OH&S and environmental standards.
• Operational Support: Coordinate shutdown work and site visits to maintain production continuity.

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Understanding of operating plant environments and management systems.
