Marshfield Consulting Services Pty Ltd, a developing construction project management consultancy, is seeking appropriately qualified and driven Site Engineers and Project Engineers to join their Adelaide team. Marshfield operates as a multifaceted consultancy, delivering procurement, project management, commercial management, and other project delivery services to clients and contractors across various scales and types of infrastructure projects throughout South Australia and Victoria. The company fosters active engagement with clients and employees through a transparent, end-to-end collaborative approach.

About the Role

In this capacity, you will provide services to clients and/or contractors on a varied spectrum of infrastructure projects within South Australia. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring safe systems of work are implemented across all aspects of your duties.
• Delivering engineering services, encompassing design, contract, construction, and procurement management functions as your skillset expands.
• Managing contractors/subcontractors or direct labour to achieve safety, quality, program, and cost targets.
• Overseeing budgets, compiling project programs, and tracking work progress.
• Collaborating effectively with Marshfield management.

Projects may encompass the construction of roads, bridges, airports, civil structures, utilities installation, and other civil construction works. Roles are available with either contractors or clients, with positions located in Adelaide or requiring work away from home on a roster basis (where transport, meals, accommodation, and site uplifts are paid separately). The capacity to work away from home will be viewed favourably.

About You

Candidates should be motivated, passionate, innovative, and energetic.

• A tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field is required.
• Three years or more of experience in the civil construction industry, either in construction or client-side engineering or project delivery, is preferred.
• You should be an accomplished communicator, confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders to achieve client objectives.
• Flexibility in working conditions and location is necessary.
• A willingness to learn new processes and skills is essential.
