Embedded Expertise is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading engineering and automation delivery provider on a 12-month contract in Perth. This position focuses on delivering complex projects within the mining and energy sectors. You will operate in a fast-paced, client-facing capacity, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee project delivery from inception to commissioning and finalisation.
• Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and associated risks to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate diverse teams involved in electrical, control systems, and integration aspects.
• Serve as the main client liaison, fostering strong relationships and ensuring delivery confidence.
• Champion project governance, reporting structures, and commercial performance.
• Provide support for procurement, subcontractor oversight, and site execution as needed.

About You:

• Possess 8+ years of Project Management experience in engineering settings.
• Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery in the mining, energy, or heavy industrial sectors.
• An engineering background (electrical, control systems, or automation is preferred).
• Experience within a consultancy, EPCM, or systems integration environment is highly regarded.
• A strong capacity to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects in dynamic delivery environments.
• Commercial acumen coupled with well-developed risk and stakeholder management skills.
• A confident communicator capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable:

• Experience delivering automation, control systems, or OT/industrial digital projects.
• Familiarity with Western Australian mining operations and project landscapes.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar.
