About the Role

Reporting to the Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our success. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Overseeing and managing multiple projects from initiation to completion, with project values up to $5 million.
• Collaborating with engineers and clients to define project scope and key deliverables.
• Developing cost estimates, managing project budgets, and ensuring effective cost control throughout each project.
• Coordinating project personnel and resources, actively removing conflicts, challenges, and roadblocks as they arise.
• Providing effective leadership and maintaining stakeholder communication across the project lifecycle.
• Contributing to ongoing business development, including the identification of new opportunities.
• Offering guidance and mentorship to the broader Synertec team.

About You

We are seeking enthusiastic and like-minded collaborators who view their work as a pathway for growth and professional development. For this position, we will be looking for:

• A Bachelor's degree qualification in engineering or an equivalent qualification is ideal but not essential.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering successful projects within a technical engineering or consulting environment.
• Engineering experience in automation/control systems or related fields is desirable.
• A hands-on approach to Project Management, preferably supported by relevant project courses such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMBOK, or others.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence key outcomes across a broad audience are a must.
• A solid understanding of risk management within a project management context is essential.
