Tripolino Accountants, a progressive, client-focused firm in Geelong, seeks a Public Accountant. For almost 40 years, we have provided practical accounting and tax advice to individuals, business owners, and family groups. Our practice was recognised as Victorian Practice of the Year (2018) by the Institute of Public Accountants. We focus on individuals, trusts, companies, and SMSFs, prioritising long-term client relationships and wealth creation.

The Role We are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant interested in work beyond compliance. You will engage directly with clients from the outset, gaining exposure to a diverse range of accounting, tax, and advisory matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements
• Preparation and lodgement of tax returns
• BAS and ongoing compliance work
• SMSF accounting and tax (experience desirable, not essential)
• Regular ATO liaison and correspondence
• Direct client engagement and query resolution

About You

• 2+ years’ experience in public practice (Intermediate) or 4–5+ years (Senior)
• Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent
• Strong understanding of Australian tax principles
• Experience with Xero, MYOB, BGL, or similar systems
• Strong communication skills, with comfort in client interactions
• High attention to detail
• Studying or completed CA / CPA / IPA, or willing to undertake
