Greater Brisbane Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to support seniors in their residences. This role involves assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and offering social support. If you possess a genuine desire to help others and maintain a positive outlook, comprehensive training will be provided.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ability to travel and support our locations across Brisbane Northside.
• Offer friendly companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with household duties including light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
• Support clients with transportation to appointments and community engagements.
• Foster independence and well-being within a home setting.

What We Are Looking For:

This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and motivated to contribute positively. You will provide personalised assistance to clients, aiding them in maintaining their independence and improving their quality of life within their chosen community. You will be an integral part of the team, working closely with and reporting to our Senior Home Care Workers as necessary.

Essential Requirements:

• A current driver's licence.
• A reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes. (Reimbursement of $0.96 per kilometre is provided for the use of your own vehicle).
• A qualification in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support.
• A National Police Check.
• Valid Australian Work Rights. (Sponsorship is not currently available).
