Sharp & Carter Accounting Clerical Sydney is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Rebates Analyst for a full-time, onsite position in Sydney NSW. This role offers a salary of $100,000 plus superannuation.

This well-established and highly regarded Australian retail business is looking for an individual to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Rebates Manager, this position will operate at the intersection of Finance and Commercial Operations. You will be responsible for supplier rebate and commission income, providing valuable analysis and insights to key stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the calculation, validation, and processing of supplier rebate and commission claims.
• Track, monitor, and reconcile rebate and commission income, ensuring accuracy and timely receipt of funds.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with Finance and Buying teams.
• Analyse supplier performance trends and identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular reporting, performance metrics, and ad-hoc commercial analysis.
• Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and income recognition processes.
• Act as a key liaison between Finance and Commercial stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

About You

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Business.
• Previous experience in a finance, commercial analyst, accounting, or rebates-focused position.
• Exposure to supplier agreements and rebate structures is highly desirable.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to process improvement.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
