The Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position offers a significant role in enhancing the performance, efficiency, and reliability of our manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with maintenance and operational teams, utilising data, analysis, and continuous improvement principles to pinpoint recurring equipment issues, minimise downtime, and elevate overall plant performance. This role is suited for an individual who thrives on solving complex problems, advancing preventative maintenance strategies, and fostering best practices within a high-achieving manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse plant failures and maintenance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans aimed at improving equipment reliability and eradicating recurring failures.
- Lead and facilitate structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) utilising CCEP's established tools and methodologies.
- Coach and support maintenance teams in best practice maintenance planning, scheduling, and work management processes.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate maintenance performance reports aligned with key operational KPIs.
- Partner with maintenance and operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimise asset performance.
- Contribute to the formulation of long-term maintenance and reliability strategies to enhance plant efficiency and reduce unplanned downtime.
About You
You are an analytical and proactive engineering professional with a dedication to improving equipment reliability and operational performance. You value collaborative work with maintenance and production teams and are motivated by finding sustainable resolutions to complex engineering challenges.
Additionally, you will possess:
- A trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; a tertiary engineering qualification is viewed favourably.
- Experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial maintenance environment.
- Strong experience in reliability engineering, maintenance planning, or continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance principles, Root Cause Analysis, and reliability methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams at all levels.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
