The Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role offers a significant opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to contribute to the enhancement of our manufacturing operations' performance, efficiency, and reliability. In close collaboration with maintenance and operational teams, you will leverage data, analysis, and continuous improvement principles to pinpoint recurring equipment issues, minimise downtime, and elevate overall plant performance. This position is well-suited for an individual who thrives on solving complex problems, advancing preventative maintenance strategies, and influencing best practices within a high-performing manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse plant failures and maintenance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans aimed at improving equipment reliability and eliminating recurring failures.
- Lead and facilitate structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) utilising CCEP's standard tools and methodologies.
- Coach and support maintenance teams on best practice maintenance planning, scheduling, and work management processes.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate maintenance performance reports aligned with key operational KPIs.
- Partner with maintenance and operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimise asset performance.
- Contribute to the development of long-term maintenance and reliability strategies designed to enhance plant efficiency and reduce unplanned downtime.
About You
You are an analytical and proactive engineering professional with a strong interest in improving equipment reliability and operational performance. You value collaborative work with maintenance and production teams and are motivated by finding sustainable resolutions to complex engineering challenges.
Additionally, you will possess:
- A trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; a tertiary engineering qualification is viewed favourably.
- Experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial maintenance environment.
- Substantial experience in reliability engineering, maintenance planning, or continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance principles, Root Cause Analysis, and reliability methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence teams at all levels.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
