Reliability Manager
Blackbook Executive is seeking a Reliability Manager for a full-time, onsite position in Minto. The salary range for this role is AUD 140,000 - 180,000 per annum.
Our client is a prominent FMCG manufacturer with a significant footprint in the Australian market, known for producing premium consumer goods for both local and global clientele. With ongoing investment in their manufacturing facilities and a dedicated focus on asset performance, an engaging opportunity exists for a Reliability Manager to integrate into the engineering leadership cohort. This position is situated in Sydney, NSW.
The Role Reporting to the Head of Operations at the site, the responsibilities encompass:
- Developing and executing the site's reliability strategy to optimise equipment performance and extend asset lifespan.
- Spearheading reliability and continuous improvement efforts across a substantial manufacturing operation.
- Driving preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives to enhance plant availability.
- Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and asset criticality assessments to minimise equipment failures.
- Collaborating closely with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering teams to elevate Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Providing reliability and maintainability input to capital projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Leveraging CMMS data and reliability metrics to identify patterns and implement data-driven enhancements.
Your Background To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- A degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Experience in a Reliability Engineer, Senior Reliability Engineer, or Reliability Manager capacity.
- Strong technical acumen with practical experience in implementing reliability-centred maintenance strategies.
- Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, condition monitoring, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Experience within FMCG, food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or similar continuous manufacturing sectors.
- A collaborative leadership style with the capacity to influence stakeholders across engineering, maintenance, and operations.
