The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the site reliability and maintenance function. You will ensure maintenance strategies are effectively planned, executed, and continuously improved to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Partnering closely with Production, Engineering, and site leadership, you will aim to optimise plant performance and achieve measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise preventative and planned maintenance schedules for all plant and equipment.
  • Foster a proactive maintenance culture focused on maximising equipment availability and reducing downtime.
  • Lead reliability improvement initiatives to increase plant availability, throughput, and efficiency.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery and value creation.
  • Provide forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Embed continuous improvement and best-practice maintenance methodologies across the team.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance and reliability team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and support succession planning and capability development.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance and reliability leader with strong technical capabilities and a commitment to driving operational performance.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation preferred).
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a Reliability Manager role within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong experience in preventative maintenance planning and continuous improvement delivery.
  • Experience delivering capital and improvement projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
