About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Renewables Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Mooloolaba, Queensland. This is a full-time, onsite position where you will take a leading role in managing renewable energy projects from conception through to completion. As Renewables Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is strategically important to Australian Enviro Projects as it directly influences our ability to deliver transformative renewable energy initiatives and maintain our reputation as a trusted project delivery partner.

Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 per year Work Type: Full-time Location: Mooloolaba Work Arrangement: Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of renewable energy projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Manage project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaborative delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation, including scopes of work, risk registers, and quality assurance plans.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditure, and provide financial reporting to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, consultants, and supply chain partners to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
  • Manage change requests and variations while maintaining project integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee quality control processes and ensure deliverables meet specified requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Preferable experience in project management, with experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar and energy storage systems.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
  • Strong understanding of relevant environmental regulations, workplace health and safety requirements, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Leadership capability with the ability to motivate and manage project teams.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional credentials such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) accreditation are highly desirable.
