Kyndred Kare is a dedicated NDIS provider serving Redcliffe and surrounding areas, focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred supports to participants. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Roster & Compliance Coordinator to fill a key operational position.

This role involves being central to our scheduling operations, ensuring appropriate staff placement and maintaining workforce compliance, thereby supporting our participants. You will also undertake support worker shifts on a rostered basis to gain a direct understanding of participant needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and publish accurate staff rosters across all service streams.
  • Allocate support workers considering participant needs, skills, location, and availability.
  • Manage short-notice changes, absences, and emergency shift coverage.
  • Monitor and manage employee compliance, including NDIS Worker Screening, Yellow Cards, first aid & CPR, mandatory training, and role-specific certifications.
  • Proactively track compliance expiry dates and manage renewals.
  • Remove or withhold shifts from non-compliant staff, reinstating them once compliance is verified.
  • Maintain accurate compliance and scheduling records within rostering systems; ShiftCare is preferred.
  • Serve as a primary contact for participants, support workers, and management.
  • Support payroll accuracy by ensuring timesheets are correct and submitted punctually.
  • Complete support worker shifts on a rostered basis to foster a genuine understanding of participant needs.
  • Share on-call responsibility on alternating weekends with another Rostering Coordinator.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates operational excellence, a genuine passion for the disability sector, and the physical and personal capability to provide direct participant support when required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in rostering within disability, community services, healthcare, or a related sector.
  • Previous experience as a support worker.
  • A strong understanding of NDIS service delivery environments.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Yellow Card (QLD).
  • No restrictions on manual handling, including lifting, pushing, pulling, or physical support tasks.
  • Ability to work alternating weekends and share on-call responsibilities.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in rostering or scheduling software.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with ShiftCare.
  • Familiarity with the SCHADS Award.
  • Understanding of NDIS funding categories, service agreements, and invoicing requirements.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume rostering environment.

What We Offer:

  • Salary of $70,000 – $80,000 per year.
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • A values-driven team environment.
  • Work from home and flexibility.
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of NDIS participants.
  • Variety in the role.
  • On-call responsibilities shared between two coordinators.
  • On-the-job training and support.
