My Ability Australia is seeking a Rostering Coordinator to join our team in Kilburn. This is a full-time, onsite position with a salary of $65,000 – $75,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain rosters for Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community participation services.
• Align support workers with participants considering skills, preferences, continuity of care, and compliance obligations.
• Address shift changes, leave requests, and unplanned absences promptly and calmly within a dynamic rostering environment.
• Collaborate closely with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure rosters align with participant needs and support plans.
• Partner with the senior team regarding onboarding, availability, and workforce planning.
• Liaise with operations and finance teams concerning SCHADS compliance, budgets, and payroll accuracy.
• Maintain the integrity and currency of the rostering system, as the data directly impacts payroll, billing, and compliance.

About You:

• Previous experience in a similar role is required. SIL rostering experience is essential, demonstrating an understanding of 24/7 rosters, sleepovers, active nights, broken shifts, and the SCHADS Award. Experience rostering community participation supports is a bonus, given organisational growth in this area.
• You possess strong interpersonal skills, building trust, communicating clearly, and remaining calm and fair under pressure, as rostering is central to the organisation.
• You are proficient with technology, comfortable using rostering software, adaptable to new systems, and leverage technology for efficient work practices.
• You are organised and decisive, capable of managing competing priorities, making timely decisions, and ensuring tasks are completed.
