About the Role As the Rostering Team Lead at Auscare Group, your responsibilities will include overseeing staff scheduling operations and guiding the rostering team to ensure optimal workforce allocation. You will be instrumental in maintaining efficient rosters, supporting daily operations, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality care services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rostering Support
  • Lead and manage the rostering team to produce efficient and compliant staff schedules that meet client requirements.
  • Provide direct rostering assistance during periods of high demand or surges.
  • Track and drive team performance against rostering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and service standards.
  • Customer Service
  • Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to new staffing, community, and disability services.
  • Manage and coordinate formal complaints and incident reports within the staffing division, in conjunction with HR.
  • Office Operations
  • Supervise daily office functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement procedures.
  • Ensure all business systems are operating effectively and engage external support providers as needed.
  • Compliance & Workforce Management
  • Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Award, SCHADS Award, Fair Work regulations, and NDIS standards.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, policies, and documentation in collaboration with HR and Finance.
  • Monitor workforce utilisation, overtime trends, and attendance to support operational efficiency.
  • Communications
  • Prepare and deliver reports on rostering performance and operational results.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Proactively identify and resolve day-to-day operational challenges with practical and effective solutions.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in rostering and team leadership within an office setting.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with the Entire HR rostering system is essential.

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an organisation providing diverse services.
