Job Description

Scheduling & Rostering Officer

Right at Home Greater Logan, a premier provider of in-home aged care and support services, seeks a motivated, organised, and positive team player for its Greater Logan office. The company's mission is to enhance the quality of life for those it serves by delivering the Right Care, Right at Home, specialising in supporting older Australians via the Support at Home program (formerly Home Care Packages), and also offering services to private clients and select NDIS participants.

About the Role

As the second Scheduler, you will be instrumental in coordinating care services for hundreds of clients across Logan, Brisbane South, and surrounding areas. Collaborating with Care Partners, Registered Nurses, and the Recruitment team, you will develop and maintain efficient rosters that consider client preferences, continuity of care, employee availability, and award compliance. This role is suited for an individual who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, onsite position, with shared participation in a rotating after-hours on-call roster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage daily client and employee rosters using Visual Care.
  • Ensure clients receive reliable, high-quality services while maintaining continuity of care wherever possible.
  • Liaise with clients, care workers, and office staff regarding roster changes, leave requests, and service enquiries.
  • Respond efficiently to last-minute schedule changes and unplanned absences.
  • Maintain accurate employee availability, qualifications, and roster information.
  • Build positive relationships with the care team through proactive communication and support.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, care management, and recruitment teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and employees.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of $70,000 - $77,500 per year, dependent on experience.
  • Performance bonus opportunities throughout the year.
  • Company laptop and all necessary equipment provided.
  • A supportive, friendly, and experienced office team.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • The opportunity to join one of the region's fastest-growing aged care providers and genuinely make a difference in the lives of older Australians.

About You

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administration role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively prioritise competing demands.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and genuine commitment to teamwork.
  • National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain one).

Highly Regarded:

  • Previous scheduling or rostering experience.
  • Experience within aged care, community care, or disability services.
  • Knowledge of the Support at Home program, Home Care Packages, or the NDIS.
  • Experience using Visual Care or a similar rostering platform.
