The Role
You will assume a significant part in delivering both compliance and advisory services, alongside mentoring junior staff and cultivating robust client relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and review of complex financial statements and income tax returns.
- Identification of tax risks and non-compliance issues.
- Assistance with the preparation of practical tax and business advice.
- Preparation of management reports and financial insights for clients.
- Provision of business advisory services to complex family groups and high-turnover businesses.
- Assistance in the mentoring and development of Graduate and Junior Accountants.
- Support for clients with tax planning and strategic business decisions.
About You
To be successful in this position, you should ideally possess:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- 3+ years of experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm.
- Strong technical knowledge in tax and business advisory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Xero (preferred).
- A proactive approach with the capacity to build strong client relationships.
