Cloughmore Stone Sydney NSW $125,000 – $145,000 per year full-time onsite

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, full-service wealth management practice. You will collaborate with a team of specialists in financial advice, lending, and insurance, contributing to the success of individuals, families, and business owners.

What you will be doing:

Client relationships

• Manage a portfolio of business and individual clients across various industry sectors.
• Build and maintain enduring relationships through the provision of prompt, high-quality client service.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling all accounting and taxation matters with diligence, responsiveness, and commercial understanding.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client engagement through advisory and other value-added services.

Accounting & taxation

• Take responsibility for financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns for a diverse client base, including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Ensure adherence to relevant taxation legislation, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.
• Develop tax planning strategies and provide practical, commercially focused tax advice.
• Assist clients with cash flow planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting to improve business performance.

Business Process Efficiency

• Maximise the utilisation of accounting technology and software platforms.
• Implement process improvements to elevate client service quality.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation within practice management systems.

What you'll bring:

• CA or CPA qualification, or significant progress towards completion.
• A minimum of 5 years of substantial experience in public practice accounting.
• Comfortable working with Xero (desirable).
• Exposure to business advisory or SMSF work will be well regarded.
