Senior Accountant, Commercial Finance - Funds Management

Mirvac is seeking a Senior Accountant, Commercial Finance to join our Funds Management Finance team for a 14-month contract. This role offers a significant opportunity to influence key financial and investor outcomes through business-wide partnerships.

The Opportunity In this position, you will provide support for the financial performance and reporting of the Funds Management platform and associated corporate entities. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver insights, maintain strong governance, and contribute to strategic commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and assist with monthly reporting, statutory reporting, AFSL compliance, and other regulatory reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance insights through financial analysis.
• Conduct commercial analysis on strategic transactions, fund performance, and business initiatives.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, payments, and management fee invoicing.
• Partner with Group on internal and external reporting cycles, including preparing information for ASX and investor reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support reporting and audit cycles.
• Identify and implement process improvements within systems and reporting.

Your Background

• CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 4 years of commercial accounting experience.
• Experience in property, funds management, or a corporate finance environment is preferred.
• Strong Excel capabilities and financial modelling skills.
• Confident communication skills with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
