Grenfell Murray is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant for their Minyama location. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of business clients, including companies, trusts, and individuals.
• Preparing financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, and activity statements.
• Working with a diverse client base across various industries.
• Delivering solutions to assist clients in making confident, well-informed decisions.
• Mentoring junior team members.
• Participating in business development and networking opportunities.
• Working closely with Partners on advisory and complex client matters.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA or CPA qualification (or well progressed).
• 5+ years of Australian public practice experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and superannuation legislation.
• A genuine client-first mindset and the associated relationship skills.
• Comfort with Xero, MYOB, or similar software, and an interest in effectively using technology.
• Clear, plain-English communication skills that build trust quickly.
• A collaborative, team-first attitude and sharp attention to detail.
