Two positions are available at a family-friendly Chartered Accounting firm offering excellent progression prospects within a growing organisation.

This progressive and growing CA accounting firm, located on the North Shore, is seeking two Senior Accountants for its Business Services division. The management team brings experience from top-tier Australian practices and serves a diverse client base including global scalable start-ups, SMEs, investment funds, family groups, and multinationals. Their client portfolio includes large groups with turnovers up to $50 million.

Reporting directly to the Partner, you will deliver compliance and consulting services to clients across various groups and industries. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Completion and review of tax returns and financial statements for all entities.
• Preparation of BAS and FBT returns.
• Tax and financial reporting consolidations.
• Identification and calculation of Div7a.
• Assisting the Partner with tax planning and business structuring advice.
• Implementing process improvements for the business and clients.
• Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff.
• Assisting with workflow meetings and team supervision.
• Liaising with clients, government bodies, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm in a Heavy Intermediate or Senior Accountant capacity.
• A CA or CPA qualification (or be currently studying towards one).
• A professional, reliable, and committed approach to work.
• A proactive mindset with a strong work ethic and the ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
