MGI Joyce Dickson is seeking a technically proficient Senior Advisor/Manager to join their Business Services team. This role is based in Griffith and requires a commitment of at least 37.5 hours per week.

The Opportunity The Senior Advisor/Manager will leverage strong accounting and supervisory abilities, coupled with high-level interpersonal and communication skills. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the formulation of budgetary and accounting policies.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, and stakeholders.
• Providing assurance regarding the accuracy of financial report information and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Offering taxation advice on various matters, including business structures, succession, and operational issues.
• Preparing and reviewing Income Tax Returns.
• Preparing cash flow and financial models for diverse projects.
• Mentoring team members.
• Providing advisory services to clients.

The Successful Applicant To be considered for this position, candidates should ideally possess:

• A Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting Major.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Current completion of, or qualification as, a CA/CPA.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• A commitment to continuing professional development.
