Hamilton York is seeking a Senior Audit Partner to join their Sydney NSW office. This is a full-time, onsite position with a salary of $300,000 – $350,000 per year.

About the Team: Due to strong growth and expansion, the firm is looking to recruit an Audit Partner in Sydney. As a Senior Partner, you will collaborate closely with local and national partners to further develop and build the audit team, contributing to the broader strategy for sustainable growth. You will also engage directly with clients, committed to delivering an exceptional audit service.

About the Role:

• Lead the client service management team in formulating audit strategy and planning.
• Act as a technical expert, providing advice and leadership to the audit team and clients.
• Maintain control and stability under pressure, while recognising deadlines and urgency.
• Present audit opinion summaries and other reporting documents, including group reporting and audit committee papers.
• Identify and capitalise on opportunities and prospects for new work.

About You:

• Significant experience in leading external audits, managing a portfolio of clients, and leading audit teams.
• CPA or CA qualified.
• A CA with experience in controlling a diverse portfolio of audit clients across sectors.
• Up-to-date technical knowledge across all applicable regulatory policy.
• Previous success in winning new business.
