You will have the autonomy to manage your client portfolio, mentor bookkeepers, uphold quality standards, and contribute to the practice's ongoing growth.

  • Generate management reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Utilise cloud applications such as Dext, Deputy, ServiceM8, Stripe, Square, and similar platforms.
  • Manage workflow, deadlines, and client communication through Karbon.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of five years’ bookkeeping experience, acquired within a bookkeeping or accounting practice.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of multiple clients across various industries.
  • Experience reviewing, mentoring, or supervising other bookkeeping team members.
  • Advanced knowledge of Xero, encompassing payroll, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping, BAS, GST, and payroll compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional client service.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative remote team.
