The Opportunity:

You will take ownership of projects from concept through to construction, cultivating strong client relationships across North Queensland. Responsibilities include:

• Leading civil engineering projects from feasibility through to construction.
• Undertaking civil design for roads, drainage, pavements, and earthworks.
• Managing stormwater and preparing Civil DA reports.
• Preparing tender and construction documentation.
• Providing contract administration and construction support.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
• Managing client relationships.
• Project planning, budget management, and quality assurance.
• Mentoring and developing junior engineers.
• Contributing to the growth of the Brisbane team.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (essential).
• 10+ years of civil design consultancy experience.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater, flood modelling, and pavement design.
• Experience with 12D, AutoCAD, DRAINS, MUSIC, or XPStorm will be highly regarded.
• Solid understanding of Australian Standards, planning frameworks, and engineering codes.
• Sound understanding of Australian Standards and local authority requirements.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• RPEQ (or eligibility).
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
