Consolidated Power Projects Australia Pty Ltd (CPP) is seeking a full-time Senior Design Drafter - Primary for a permanent position based in Adelaide, SA. This remote role offers highly attractive remuneration.

CPP boasts Australia's largest in-house design and engineering team, comprising over 190 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. The company delivers end-to-end engineering solutions for high-voltage infrastructure, including nationally significant transmission projects, HV substations, wind farms, and battery storage systems, contributing to Australia's renewable energy transition. Engineers collaborate closely with construction and operations teams to ensure designs are practical and constructible, incorporating real-world feedback.
The Opportunity
This role involves working on innovative high voltage infrastructure projects such as substations, grid connections, wind, and battery storage systems. You will support the design and construction phases, delivering high-quality results to meet standards and project deadlines. As a Senior Design Drafter, you will provide technical and engineering design input and assistance to Project Managers and Engineers, and help resolve technical project queries.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- 5 years or more experience as a Senior Designer Drafter, specialising in High Voltage Primary Systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with client engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting and implementing design information provided by Primary Design, Civil Design, and Project Engineers.
