We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Power Generation Engineering team at our Perth CBD office. While the position is scoped as Senior Electrical Engineer, we are also open to applications from experienced Electrical Engineers with strong technical capabilities.

The role encompasses the full asset lifecycle, from operational support and asset management to new asset construction and upgrade projects. You will collaborate closely with site operations, development teams, and external partners, providing practical, high-quality electrical engineering advice within a live 24/7 environment. Your contributions will be key to improving standards, strengthening grid compliance, and enhancing consistency across our portfolio.

What you will do:

• Provide electrical engineering expertise for High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems, serving as a technical authority for operational and project-related decisions.
• Support operational sites with fault finding, planned and unplanned outage works, risk management, and asset reliability for generation assets.
• Contribute to grid compliance, generator performance standards, and protection systems.
• Develop, maintain, and improve electrical engineering standards and asset management practices.
• Support capital projects and new assets, including design review, commissioning, and integration into operations.

Your experience:

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in power generation, utilities, or a closely related energy sector.
• Strong technical foundation in electrical systems, with exposure to HV/LV equipment, protection systems, and compliance requirements.
• Experience providing practical engineering support in operational or project settings.
• Ability to engage effectively with operational teams and stakeholders, balancing technical requirements with commercial and safety priorities.
• Comfortable working flexibly in a 24/7 operational environment, demonstrating a collaborative and resilient approach.
• Full working rights within Australia are required for this role.
