Core Talent is collaborating with a reputable electrical contractor renowned for its delivery of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects throughout Western Australia. Driven by ongoing expansion, they are recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer or Engineering Manager to contribute to the technical and project delivery facets of significant electrical undertakings.

This position is ideal for an individual possessing robust electrical design and construction expertise, capable of managing projects from initial scope and design coordination through to construction, commissioning, and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in the delivery of electrical systems, encompassing lighting, power, and distribution.
• Oversee technical delivery, spanning design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Review electrical designs, workshop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Offer technical guidance to project managers, site personnel, and subcontractors.
• Undertake site inspections and aid in the resolution of technical and construction challenges.
• Support commissioning activities, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), engineering change management, and project variations.
• Ensure adherence to Australian Standards, National Construction Code (NCC) requirements, and Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) procedures.
• Engage in client, stakeholder, and design coordination meetings.

About You

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer, or Engineering Manager on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• A thorough understanding of electrical design, construction, and project delivery processes.
• Experience in commissioning, technical delivery, and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
• Proficiency in communication, organisation, and problem-solving.
• Possession of a Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
