Senior Finance Business Partner | ASX 100

Reporting to senior finance leadership, and working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders, this role is integral to supporting financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making within a high-performing, fast-paced setting. You will partner with senior stakeholders to provide high-quality analysis, planning, and insights that underpin business performance, investment decisions, and broader growth initiatives. This role will also contribute to the ongoing enhancement of reporting, planning, and decision support processes, identifying avenues for increased efficiency, automation, and improved management information quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, encompassing operating expenditure, investment, and headcount.
- Partner with key stakeholders to deliver commercial analysis, financial insights, and decision support.
- Develop and maintain financial models to facilitate scenario analysis, investment decisions, and business planning.
- Consolidate and analyse business performance to provide visibility on key financial and operational metrics.
- Prepare reporting packs, dashboards, and materials to support leadership decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to refine reporting frameworks, processes, and operational methods through enhanced automation and efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- CA/CPA or CFA qualified.
- Substantial experience gained within a Big 4/Mid-Tier environment, ideally in Transaction Services, Insolvency, or Corporate Finance, or from a large, complex commercial business.
- Possesses the credibility and presence to engage extensively with non-financial stakeholders, coupled with the ability to work independently and objectively.
- Demonstrates outstanding analytical and planning skills, alongside well-developed commercial acumen.
- A genuine business partner capable of building strong relationships across the organisation, particularly with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
