As the Senior Finance Business Partner for Sourcing and Supply Chain, you will be integral in collaborating with Country Road Group’s Sourcing and Supply Chain leadership. Your focus will be on advancing financial performance, achieving cost efficiencies, and supporting strategic decision-making throughout the entire supply chain. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary finance partner to the Chief Sourcing and Supply Officer. Your role will involve translating financial insights into commercial actions designed to enhance sourcing, logistics, inventory, and operational performance, while also contributing to the Group’s broader strategic and transformation objectives.
Your Contributions:
- Partner with the Chief Sourcing and Supply Officer and the Supply Chain leadership team to advance financial performance across sourcing, logistics, distribution, and operational efficiency.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the Sourcing and Supply Chain function, ensuring alignment with brand demand plans and Group financial targets.
- Provide clear visibility into supply chain cost drivers, financial risks, opportunities, and performance trends to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Identify and implement cost optimisation, productivity, and value creation initiatives across sourcing, logistics, and supplier economics.
- Support commercial decision-making by evaluating cost versus service trade-offs to achieve optimal end-to-end supply chain outcomes.
- Act as the key financial liaison between Brand Finance, Planning and Merchandise, Retail Finance, FP&A, and Supply Chain teams to align demand, inventory, capacity, and cost.
- Provide financial leadership for strategic sourcing, logistics optimisation, and supply chain transformation initiatives.
- Develop robust business cases, financial models, scenario analyses, and investment recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with Commercial Finance and Strategy teams to evaluate initiatives, quantify benefits, and track financial outcomes and value realisation.
- Support supplier negotiations and commercial decisions through insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
- Promote strong business partnering practices while contributing to the development of a high-performing Commercial Finance team.
Valued Capabilities:
- CA or CPA qualification with 7 to 10 years of experience in finance business partnering.
- Strong experience partnering with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Operations, or Commercial teams within retail or consumer businesses.
- Demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders and delivering measurable commercial and financial outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of supply chain, sourcing, and operational economics.
- Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Proven ability to identify cost optimisation opportunities and support strategic investment decisions through robust financial analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and build alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting transformation initiatives, business cases, and financial benefits realisation.
- Proficiency in Oracle, EPM, supply chain planning systems, Excel, and PowerPoint.
