Senior Finance Officer Parabellum International Naval Base full-time remote
Parabellum International is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Finance Officer to lead its transactional finance team. This role involves oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. The position requires a candidate who enjoys leading a team while also contributing directly to daily operations, with a focus on process improvement and collaboration across the organisation.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Finance Officers, promoting collaboration, accountability, and ongoing development.
- Manage the complete delivery of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing.
- Provide direct support for complex transactions, escalations, and immediate operational needs.
- Identify and implement process enhancements, system upgrades, and automation solutions to boost efficiency and service delivery.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the business, offering reliable financial support and contributing to positive business outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and legislative requirements, and support audit activities.
About You:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior or supervisory finance position.
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and financial compliance.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
- Experience with ERP/finance systems, with Pronto being highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability as a hands-on leader with strong coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
