4DTalent is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a 6-month contract role within a large, global technology-driven organisation. This is a complex, matrix-structured environment operating across multiple regions, ideal for individuals who excel in fast-paced, evolving settings. The company has ambitious growth plans and this role will be crucial in ensuring the business is future-ready, efficient, and optimised for long-term success.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of annual and interim financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local reporting requirements.
• Perform end-to-end reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts and other core general ledger balances, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring timely completion of audits and resolving technical accounting queries.
• Review finance workflows across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash application, and lease accounting, identifying improvement opportunities and developing standardised procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency.

About You:

This position may suit an individual who commenced their career in Audit or Business Services and has since transitioned into industry, seeking to further develop within a large, sophisticated organisation. Alternatively, it could suit someone who has built their career entirely within commerce and enjoys the technical aspects of accounting, particularly financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation.

Requirements:

• CA or CPA qualified.
• A degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a multinational corporate environment.
• Background in Audit or Business Services is desired.
• Comfortable working independently and explaining finance matters to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong Excel capability.
• Experience with SAP, Navision, or similar large ERPs is ideal.
• Immediately available or available on short notice.
